North Conway, NH– AbilityPLUS welcomed students from The Carroll Center For The Blind Saturday at Wildcat Mountain for a day of fun through adaptive skiing/riding. AbilityPLUS volunteer instructors and staff provided lessons and guides for the blind and visually impaired skiers/riders from Newton, Massachusetts.
“It was the first time skiing for some of the group, and they really took it it. Almost everyone progressed off the beginner hill and skied some of the longer, more challenging runs,” said Liz Stokinger, Director of Programs for AbilityPLUS at Wildcat. “The Carroll Center has been partnering with AbilityPLUS for over five years now and it’s always a great time for the students and the AbilityPLUS team.”
The group arrived in North Conway on Friday night and stayed at the Nereledge Inn in North Conway for the

weekend. They spent a snowy Saturday skiing and Sunday enjoyed a day of tubing.
