Come run through magnificent areas of New England. When the von Trapp family first gazed on the mountain vistas of Stowe, Vermont, they knew immediately they had found their new home. The sweeping expanses reminded them of Austria, their homeland, and the resort they founded provides the perfect venue for this event.
Race Course: A 10K out and back beginning and ending in the beautiful Trapp Family Lodge Meadow. The trail winds through 800 vertical feet of idyllic forest, with racers reaching the Cabin before turning around for the last half of the run.
Post Race: Food and awards presentation following the race at the start/finish; plenty of free refreshments. Prizes to the first 3 female and the first 3 male finishers.
While you’re at Trapp Family Lodge, be sure to visit the new Deli/Brewery to thank our sponsor for their support. Or consider making a weekend of it and staying at this world class resort.
