In August 2009, Chris Waddell will attempt to summit Kilimanjaro.

Sounds like a basic goal, until you consider that this star athlete and paralympian will conquer the 19,340 foot high mountain without the use of his legs.

If successful, Waddell will become the first paraplegic to summit Kilimanjaro unassisted, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world.

"If One-Revolution was just about climbing Kilimanjaro we would have already done it. This expedition is just the beginning."

- Chris Waddell

In Memoriam

Mr. Scott Factor

It is with deep sadness that we report the unexpected passing of Scott Factor on Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Scott was a long time supporter and volunteer of AbilityPLUS at Attitash. His friendship, enthusiasm and dedication will be sorely missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, his family has requested that donations be made to the Scott Factor Memorial Scholarship Fund here at AbilityPLUS.  If you would like to make a gift, click here for the secure online donation form. Please make sure to select the fund from the Donation Category drop down list on the form.
