WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH—David A. Hauser has been named Executive Director of AbilityPLUS, a regional non-profit organization providing adaptive sports and recreation experiences for people with all manner of physical and/or developmental disabilities. Mr. Hauser is a long-time volunteer with AbilityPLUS. His full-time appointment as Executive Director was announced recently by the organization’s board of directors.
“This is a tremendous honor and opportunity and I am eager to broaden our outreach so we can serve even more people in the coming months and years,” said Hauser. “We will devote our energies and those of our many volunteers to expanding our program offerings to serve more families, attract additional volunteers and intensify development to raise the funds necessary to achieve the goals we share with the individuals we serve.”
Hauser succeeds Kathy Chandler, who founded AbilityPLUS in 1997 and has served in a leadership role ever since. She’ll continue that leadership as she transitions to her new position as Director of Development.
