Privacy policy discloses the privacy practices for AbilityPLUS, Inc. and our internet presence.

Overview:


WE (AbilityPLUS Inc. and its partner programs) will not disclose any of your personal information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it. 

How we Collect and Use Personal Information:  

Inital Program and Event Registration:

Your contact information such as name, address, email address, emergency contacts and special requirements pursuant to disabilities are collected during your initial visit / call to an AbilityPLUS program or partner program. You may notify us at that time not to share your contact information within the AbilityPLUS network of partner programs. We never share your contact information with any outside entity. That information will be used primarily for contact and lesson history purposes. We may also add them to our mailing list for future events, our annual newsletter mailing list, or our fundraising efforts. 

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. The AbilityPLUS web sites does not collect cookies. We do not recognize or capture the e-mail address of visitors to our site, and we don't collect any information that identifies individual visitors.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that AbilityPLUS is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to this Web site.

This website takes precautions to protect our users' information. When users submit personal information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. 

Correction/Updating Personal Information:


If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done by via our website contact page.

Choice /Opt-out

If you do not wish to be put on our mailing list when registering at a program, sending us email or filling out an event registration form, please tell us so at that time. Also, persons who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or event promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by visiting www.abilityplus.org and sending an update through our contact form or by calling us at 603-236-4758 x1

Notification of Changes


If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this Privacy Policy page, so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we share it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
